Description
The Pyramid Apex 7400-DB3 is a 120VAC Apex bill acceptor with a standard bezel and a 500-note stacker. It accepts U.S. $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills. Pyramid sells it as the replacement for both the 7400-UB3 and the 7400-DB3.
Side harness exit for tight cabinets
On 120V Apex units, the letter after the series number tells you where the harness comes out, not how the bills stack. The DB3 harness exits the side, while the UB3 harness exits the rear. A rear exit can get pinched behind the validator in shallow doors such as Arachnid dartboards, and a side exit avoids that. Like the UB3, it can be mounted as an up or downstacker.
