Description
The Pyramid Platinum PT1-LA4-USA brings Pyramid's Platinum validator to Multi-Drop Bus equipment such as vending machines, micro markets and kiosks. It takes its power straight from the MDB bus and stacks accepted notes into a compact, lockable 150-note cash box. It reads US currency ($1 through $100) on a 67mm bill width path.
What it does
- Accepts $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 US bills at better than 95% acceptance, around 27 bills a minute.
- Talks to the controller over the standard bi-directional MDB serial interface, using a standard MDB connector and pinout. Pyramid installs harness P/N 05AA0038, and a longer harness can be had if your cabinet needs one.
- UV LED validation, dual-stage optical anti-stringing and a mechanical anti-stringing lever work together against counterfeits and fishing.
- Lit bezel and lit bill entry.
- No DIP switches or configuration cards; firmware and settings come from a USB flash drive or a PC and are retained with the power off.
- Self-calibrating sensors, a lift-out bill path for cleaning, and push-button/LED or PC diagnostics.
- Made in the USA and covered by Pyramid's 2-year parts and labor warranty.
Who uses it
Vending and micro market operators whose machines are laid out for the smaller 150-note box. Inside, it is the same validator as the PT1-LB4-USA; only the cash box differs (150 notes here, 500 on the LB4).
